Persuasive Writing

In school we have been learning about persuasive writing. Here is something that I am working on.

Every single kid should have at least one dog. One reason they should have at least one dog is because the dog would keep them company. The dog would keep them company because if they were an only child and they had nobody to play with they have a dog to play with. Also, if they had siblings and they were gone they had a dog  to play with. Furthermore, you would have the dog to sleep with. Also, dogs are calm animals when they get older.

Trick or Treating

This year for to  my family went to my grandma’s house. The bad part is we had to bring the dogs. We dressed P.J up as Yoda from Star Wars. He was so cute in the little costume. My mom stayed and passed out candy. But we still went trick or treating even though it was snowing but just s little bit. I was surprised that some people made treat bag because that takes a lot of time. We went to a house where the person that lives there didn’t even have to pass out candy he bought 1 zombie  holding a bucket of candy the other one was a head with a bucket of candy. I liked one house’s walk way because it was so long and fun to go up and down. Also, a house gave us the barrels of juice. One part was really fun where a firetruck pulled up like 5 houses down so I ran without my bag but I still got candy. Then after all that it pulled up right next to us. But then I finally got home and I couldn’t feel my fingers and toes. But I still had a lot of fun after all that freezing whether.
