.Gabby Douglas is a professional gymnast in the Olympics. Gabby Douglas grew up in Virginia Beach.She started practicing Gymnastics in her yard when she was 6. She practiced backhand springs airreals and handstands. Then when she was about 8  she begged to do gymnastics classes and it happened! Her coach said that she was too good for that class and that she should compete in a.a.u or higher. Then she begged to go to Lowa to train with coach Chagin Lou. She went for two years with a family with 4 girls. Then Gabby try to win the olympics trials and she got 2nd place. Then she came back home and went to the Olympics. Now Gabby has three gold medals.
